Many of us rely on coffee to be our morning pick-me-up to get started for the day. Our cup of joe gives us that caffeine that our body has been craving the moment we got out of bed. I don’t think the coffee trend is going to stop any time soon so we might as well take full advantage.
Along with that caffeine jolt, coffee has several benefits besides just the taste. The high amount of antioxidants helps lower the risk of diabetes and heart disease. It also comes in handy, improving alertness and energy, but you probably know that already.

Drink your coffee an hour before your workout to maximize your gym time. The caffeine boost will give your more than enough energy to push through every sweat sesh you’ve got planned. This way you’ll be able to exercise harder without actually feeling that you are exerting more energy.
Don’t want to replace your pre-workout supplements? No worries. Instead of adding milk or sugar, add some protein powder to your cup. Protein powder is known to increase muscle growth and help maintain muscle balance. Add enough protein to reach the target of 15 to 20 grams of protein per meal. Achieve a healthy fullness while eliminating the urge to snack
Sometimes we feel that midday crash. The only relief? Coffee. The quick solution to all of our exhaust. But, sometimes the extra pick-me-up is at the expense of a good night’s rest. To make sure you are ensuring a sleepless night, make sure that your last caffeinated beverages is at least six hours before going to bed.
